How do I go about arranging a building and/or pest inspection?

When you are ready to book your inspections, just call 1300 EXPRESS and our friendly staff will make all the necessary arrangements for you.

We will gather all your details and then contact your agent to gain access to the property.  We will then confirm the date and time of your inspection with you.

How do I pay for my inspections?

You can pay at the time of your booking or you can pay the inspectors directly at your inspection. Our methods of payment are: Cash, Cheque, EFT or Credit Card. Please note: Payment methods accepted can vary between operators.

Can I attend my inspection?

Of course! We encourage our clients to attend their inspections from mid-way through to finish. You are welcome to walk around with your inspectors and ask them any questions or concerns you may have.  At the end of your inspections, both inspectors will provide you with a verbal summary of their findings.

What if I can’t attend my inspection?

If you are unable to be present at your inspections, our inspectors are will call you after your inspections and provide you with a verbal summary of their findings. We are also happy to go over your reports with you and answer any further questions you may have.

Do you send out two inspectors for a combined building & pest inspection?

Yes. In most cases a building inspector and a pest inspector will both attend your inspections at the same time. They will both independently undertake your inspections and provide you with two separate reports. We do however have a few inspectors that are qualified to conduct both inspection types.

Are you insured?

Yes. Our inspections and reports are covered by professional indemnity insurance for building and pest inspections.

Are you licensed?

Yes, our building and pest inspectors are licensed as required by the QBCC and meet the requirements of AS4349.1 for building inspections in all states except Queensland to undertake and report on pre-purchase building inspections. Timber pest inspector is compliant with AS4349.7 of the Australian Standards.

How soon can I get my reports?

We provide professionally written reports with quality photos of defects so you can actually see the issues. We try our best to get the report to you at the end of the inspection day wherever possible.

Reports can be emailed so you’re not left waiting for the post to arrive.
